Soul B Academy is prepared to offer a winter reading course to provide families with specific strategies to help teach some basic reading skills. The purpose of this course is to show families how to provide support for letters, sound knowledge, blending sounds together, and learning word patterns. You will even have the opportunity to grab a bonus session to help your child use their sounds to write words effectively.

The course will offer 3 sessions (45 mins each) that provide a myriad of activities and skills to enhance these reading skills.

Day 1: I can teach my child the letters and sounds.

Day 2: I can teach my child how to blend sounds together.

Day 3: I can teach my child sight words and word patterns.

*BONUS* Day 4: I can teach my child to use the sounds to write words.

Selection of classes:

You have the option to choose between 1 session or 3 sessions. Each class is scheduled to last 45 mins long. You also have the option to pay for a bonus session that will include additional resources to help transfer the reading skills to enhance their writing skills.

These sessions will be held on Zoom.
