This resource can be used to help students master targeted skills in any phonics curriculum. The students will use 6 short e vowel patterns and the sound chips (black dots) to understand how the sounds work together to make words. The ultimate goal here is for students to learn how develop letter-sound proficiency to recognize the parts of the word (pattern) to increase their ability to read unknown words.
