Soul B Academy is prepared to offer a virtual math course for all 2nd Grade students. The purpose of this course is to solidify their number sense, or the ability to identify and conceptualize numbers.

The virtual course will offer 5 classes over a 3 week span with an introductory meeting with the parents. 

July 1 – Parent Meeting/Introduction
July 6 – Session 1
July 8 – Session 2
July 11 – Session 3
July 13 – Session 4
July 15 – Session 5

**Make-up sessions can be scheduled if you are not available.

Topics covered: understanding place value, representing numbers, decomposing numbers, comparing sets , 10 more/10 less, 100 more/100 less, expanded form, multiple representations
 

Each session will be held on Zoom.
