Soul B Academy is prepared to offer a virtual math course for all 1st Grade students. The purpose of this course is to solidify their number sense, or the ability to identify and conceptualize numbers.

The virtual course will offer 5 classes over a 3 week span with an introductory meeting with the parents. 

June 13 – Parent Meeting/Introduction
June 15 – Session 1
June 17 – Session 2
June 22 – Session 3
June 24 – Session 4
June 29 – Session 5

**Make-up sessions can be scheduled if you are not available.

Topics covered: understanding place value, counting forward (by 1s, 5s, 10s), representing numbers, decomposing numbers, comparing sets , 10 more/10 less, multiple representations
 

Each session will be held on Zoom.
